Yonkers to Honor Long-Married Couples With Valentine’s Day Vow Renewal
Yonkers is inviting couples who will mark 50 years or more of marriage in 2026 to take part in a special Valentine’s Day–themed vow renewal ceremony at City Hall.
Mike Spano announced that the celebration will take place on Tuesday, February 10 at 1 p.m. in Yonkers City Hall, recognizing residents whose marriages have spanned five decades or more.
The mayor said the event is meant to highlight the lasting partnerships that help shape the fabric of the city, noting that couples who have shared decades together serve as examples of commitment, resilience, and mutual support.
After the ceremony, participating couples will be invited to a reception with light refreshments. Each couple will also receive a commemorative certificate in recognition of their milestone anniversary.
Yonkers residents interested in participating must register by Monday, February 2. Registration can be completed by contacting Dr. Dwanita Crosby at (914) 377-6084 or dwanita.crosby@yonkersny.gov
. Proof of marriage is required.
