League of Women Voters to Host Yonkers Debate for County Legislator District 14-Tubiolo vs. Pineda

The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns announces a virtual Candidate Forum for candidates

for Westchester County Legislature District 14.

The Forum will be a Zoom webinar on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Forum

can be viewed live by pre-registration at https://bit.ly/WestCoLeg14.

There will be no audience participation. Questions must be submitted ahead of time either at

registration or by email to info@lwv-riverto wns.org. The deadline for submission of questions is

Sunday, October 12 at 9 a.m. Questions will be vetted by a committee of League members who will

submit them to the moderator prior to the start of the Forum. The League is partnering with Disability

Rights New York to provide live American Sign Language interpretation.

Participating in the Forum are candidates Michael Pineda and David Tubiolo. Pineda is running on the

Republican line. Tubiolo is an incumbent. He is running on the Democratic and Working Families

lines.

The event will be recorded and made available on the League’s YouTube channel, LWV Rivertowns,

and on the League’s website, www.lwv-rivertowns.org, and Facebook page. YouTube has closed

captions where the text can be translated into any language
