City Brings Mobile Tax Offices to Yonkers Neighborhoods Ahead of April 14 Deadline

With the county property tax deadline less than two weeks away, the City of Yonkers is making it easier for residents to pay without a trip to City Hall.

Mayor Mike Spano announced three Mobile Tax Office pop-ups scheduled for this week at community locations across the city. Staff from the Tax Department and Constituent Services will be on hand to accept property tax payments, process water bill payments, and answer resident questions.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, April 6 — Coyne Park / Bernice Spreckman Community Center, 777 McLean Ave., 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Wednesday, April 8 — Homefield House, 911 Saw Mill River Rd., 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, April 9 — Grinton I. Will Library, 1500 Central Park Ave., 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 2026 Westchester County property tax installment is due Tuesday, April 14. Residents who miss the deadline face interest charges calculated at 15 percent annually from the due date, with no grace period.

For those who cannot make it to a mobile location, payments can also be made in person at Yonkers City Hall, Room 108, by mail to 40 South Broadway, Room 108, Yonkers, NY 10701, or online at http://yonkersny.gov/, where credit card and electronic check options are available.

Residents with questions about their bill can call the Tax Office at 914-377-6138 or 914-377-6141.
