Shelley Mayer Launches 2026 Constituent Survey Ahead of Albany Session
As the New York State Legislature prepares to reconvene, State Senator Shelley B. Mayer is inviting residents of her district to share their priorities and concerns through a newly launched 2026 Constituent Opinion and Concern Survey.
The survey, which is open through January 15, is designed to gather direct feedback from constituents as Senator Mayer begins the 2026 legislative session in Albany. Responses will help inform her policy focus and advocacy efforts over the coming year.
Residents are encouraged to complete the survey thoughtfully and are asked to participate only if they live within the Senator’s district. Participants should select only the responses provided, avoid choosing multiple answers where only one is requested, and submit the survey just once, whether online or by mail. A section at the end allows respondents to share additional comments or concerns in their own words.
In a statement, Senator Mayer emphasized the importance of community input, noting that hearing directly from constituents plays a critical role in shaping her work in the State Senate. She highlighted the value of open dialogue, whether through surveys, meetings, emails, phone calls, or social media, and said that feedback from residents helps guide her decision-making on issues that affect the district.
“I want to hear directly from you about what matters most,” Mayer said, encouraging constituents to take a few minutes to participate. “Your perspective helps inform my work on your behalf.”
